ContentDetailsType

RIXML 2.5 Complex Type

Complex Type

A complex type that enables content elements to include descriptive information (title, subtitle, synopsis, abstract) in a specific language. This type includes an optional language attribute using ISO639-2 language codes to specify the language for all contained text elements.

Usage

Used within ContentDetails elements to provide content metadata in alternative languages. The language attribute is optional and defaults to the Research element's language if not specified. Contains required Title element and optional formatted variants along with Description, SubTitle, Abstract, and Synopsis elements.

Business Context

Essential for global research distribution where publishers need to offer content descriptions in multiple languages to serve international audiences. Enables multilingual metadata while maintaining structured content organization.
